About us
Géraldine and Laurent
We had a busy professional and social life in the Rhône-Alpes region, but we had no idea that a new adventure was waiting for us in the Quercy region. As we love travelling in France and especially abroad, we were used to this type of accommodation.
The idea of creating our own Maison gradually took shape, and during a trip, the motto of the Lot appealed to us".Here we are well, Here we live well".. The decision was made. Our new life began at the end of 2022 with the purchase of the property.
Restoration of the Grange
It took 18 months to transform the old barn into Villa Caormina. We were fortunate to be able to work with several different trades and talented local craftsmen - all within a 20 km radius - who helped bring our project to life. The choice of materials naturally leaned towards sustainable elements: wood, stone and metal.
Two of our passions have guided this adventure: decoration and home-made products. Every piece of furniture and every piece of equipment has been carefully selected to provide comfort, authenticity and charm. Our aim was clear: to create an atmosphere that was both refined and warm, in a house designed to accommodate up to 8 people.
